Search Console MCP
A hosted Search Console MCP server, read-only.
https://mcp.rankgaroo.com/mcpIn short
A Search Console MCP server lets an AI app like Claude or ChatGPT query your Google Search Console data while it answers you. Rankgaroo runs that server for you: add one URL as a connector, sign in with Google, and ask about clicks, impressions, CTR and positions by query, page, country, device or date. It can read, never change, your properties, and it doesn't store the data it fetches.
No local setup
Self-hosted GSC MCP servers need Python or Node, a Google Cloud project, an OAuth client and a credentials file. Rankgaroo needs a URL and a Google sign-in.
Works on the web too
Claude.ai and ChatGPT can't reach a server on your laptop. A remote server works in web, desktop and terminal apps with the same connector.
Read-only by design
Rankgaroo asks Google for the read-only Search Console scope. It can't submit sitemaps, remove URLs or touch settings, so there's nothing for an AI to break.

What is a Search Console MCP server?
A Search Console MCP server is a small service that exposes Google Search Console data as tools an AI app can call through the Model Context Protocol. The AI asks for rows, such as clicks by query for the last 28 days, and uses them to answer your question.
Is there an official Google Search Console MCP server?
As of October 2026, Google has not released one. Google publishes an official MCP server for Google Analytics, which runs locally. For Search Console, the options are open-source servers you run yourself or hosted servers like Rankgaroo.
Which Search Console properties can I use?
Any property your Google account can access, both domain properties (sc-domain:example.com) and URL-prefix properties. Agencies with many client properties see all of them under one sign-in.
How many rows can the AI pull?
Up to 1,000 rows per call, with filters on query, page, country and device, including regex. Search Console itself hides anonymized queries and keeps about 16 months of history.
Does it support URL Inspection or sitemaps?
Not yet. The beta covers search analytics and property lists for Search Console, plus GA4 reports. URL Inspection is on the list for a later version.
